Focus on Jesus Christ and Invite Diligent Learning | October 11 Institute Training

Help students see Jesus Christ in every gospel topic and take greater responsibility for learning. Explore simple questions that point to the Savior, ways to invite students to respond to one another, and opportunities for them to lead and contribute.

Invitation:

Choose one or two principles from Teaching in the Savior’s Way. Study, pray, practice, and record what the Lord teaches you.

Inviting Diligent Learning | September 13 Institute Training

Help students participate, teach one another, and deepen their reliance on Jesus Christ. Explore how listening, observing, and discerning guide follow-up questions that connect scripture with students’ experiences and invite testimony. Includes discussion of personal invitations and helping young adults feel they belong.

Invitation:

Listen more intentionally and give students more opportunities to share, testify, and learn from one another.

Summer Training 2026

Brother Will Perez introduces the vision for the new school year and teaching foundational principles of Christlike teaching. This video explores how Teaching in the Savior's Way equips teachers with "five smooth stones" that prepare them to help students deepen their conversion to Jesus Christ.

Brother Stoll demonstrates how teachers can move beyond simply teaching commandments to helping students recognize the Savior's character, experience His love, and deepen their relationship with Him.

Brother Mason demonstrates how the Lord teaches His children and how teachers can follow that same pattern. Rather than simply giving answers, effective teachers guide students to seek, discover, ask inspired questions, and act in faith through the influence of the Holy Ghost.
